You see many stars at night in the sky but find them not when the sun rises; can you say that there are no stars in the heaven of day? So, O man! because you behold not God in the days of your ignorance, say not that there is no God.
He must be very ignorant for he answers every question he is asked.
He shines in the second rank, who is eclipsed in the first. That last quote reminds me of all the eager-for-fame journalism students I've met – they scorn their local papers; they see themselves as destined for the top tier and the brightest lights – they want to lead the beast of the public by the ring in its nose. They want to CHANGE THE WORLD, but heaven forbid they start with themselves or their hometowns.
Hopefully they will realize that it is a great thing to have influence in a community that doesn't think that it is the heartbeat of America. You won't develop an attitude of humility unless you're willing to work hard out of the spotlight. You won't be ready to lead thousands if you snub the offer to lead dozens.
